Privacy Policy
Privacy App has been designed to promote data protection. This Privacy Policy describes how and when the Privacy App collects and processes personal data. Data Minimization Commitment Privacy App avoids collecting unnecessary personal data and follows a privacy by design and data minimization strategy for its data processing and data retention policy. User Consent When using any of our Services you consent to the collection and processing of your information for the indicated purpose, so please read our Privacy Policy carefully. How data may be collected Privacy App can receive information and personal data through its websites, email notifications, and other interactions means (hereafter the “Services”). Data are collected through the following means: Information You Provide: You may provide personally identifiable information (“personal data”) about yourself when you use our Services, by providing your name and other identifying information. When you share information or content via the Services, you should think carefully about what you are making public. Information Collected Automatically: We collect and process some data automatically when you use the Services. This may include your IP address, software configurations, mobile device identification numbers, and other similar data. Our Policy Towards Children Our Services are not directed to persons under 16 years of age. If you become aware that someone under 16 years of age has provided us with personal data, please contact us at demo@mandint.org. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 years of age has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove such information. Purpose and Use of Collected Information We process personal data for the sole purposes of the Privacy App related Services, namely: To enable the users interact and communicate with each other. To enable Privacy App for providing its services. To improve users experience on our mobile application. To authenticate, secure and collect statistics on remote connections. Data Controller The Privacy App Services are provided by Mandat International, which is their data controller. Data Storage and retention period Privacy App stores its data in Europe (mainly in Switzerland). The data retention period is minimized and data that are not required anymore are deleted. The data retention period is determined by taking into account the legal, security, and Service requirements. Sharing and Transfer of Information, including data processors Any personal data is processed with care and strict rules are applied to protect confidential personal data. Privacy App avoids any unnecessary data transfer to third parties or transfer to geographic locations that are likely not to respect the principles of the European General Data Protection Regulation. We may share your information with platform moderators, as well as with legitimate Parties when required by law or as necessary to protect our services. Privacy App can use data processors for hosting or processing information related to its Services.Any Data Processors of personal data has to be formally bound by means of a data processing agreement protecting personal data in line with the European General data Protection Regulation.The full list of data processors is available by simple request to the data controller by sending an email to demo@mandint.org. Security We use physical, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard information in our possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification.Please note, however, that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect the information we maintain, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us. Changes To This Policy We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will be located at the Privacy App application. We may make changes to this policy at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
